Updating My Office, Storage Solutions, Standing Desks & Computer Upgrades?!

Prior to 2020, I primarily worked in an office. I would leave my house every morning to go in to the office. I used the workspace in the office that was supplied with the necessary items, and didn’t put much thought into having any of those things at home.

When I started a YouTube channel, I initially used the dining room table to edit videos. We had just moved in and got some very basic furniture (necessities only). At that time, it didn’t feel like a desk or proper workspace at home was really necessary. Laptops were only used occasionally to get personal items done (look up recipes online, pay bills, etc).

After experiencing remote work and adjusting to working at home, I’ve realized how important it is to have a functional and comfortable workspace at home. As I think about expanding my YouTube channel and building my social media presence, I have spent much more time trying to get things done without leaving the house!

In this video, I talk about the space I hope to create for my future “home office”. It’s still weird to me that I even say that!
