Function of Beauty Unboxing and Review!

Social media ads can be very enticing. Don’t you agree?!

For years I’ve been experimenting with different skin care products. Really diving in to do research and invest in some great products to maintain my skin. I was always open to trying something new and would change up what I was using regularly (although I understand that may not be the best practice for everyone’s skin). But I’ve never really taken the time to look into hair care as much as I probably should.

I’ve dabbled in some hair care products here and there, but was never too serious about it. I had tried a full range of drug to to department/high end beauty and skincare products, but rarely took the time to put as much thought into haircare.

Realizing that I’ve been doing quite some damage to my hair for about 20 years with all that hair coloring, I decided to take this a little more seriously. I’ve been lucky enough to have avoided hair breakage and my stylist considers my hair pretty healthy. But as time passes, I feel like this is just something I should look into a bit more.

I came across Function of Beauty, like I mentioned, through all of those social media ads that pop up on my feed. I’ve heard about it from time to time over the course of the past few years, and thought this was the time to jump in and try it. I’ll be honest, I’m not usually one to spend more than $15 on a shampoo, like the jumbo size at the grocery store. So far, I’ve felt that was enough for me to continue using because it seemed to be doing the job! But if anything, I thought a custom shampoo and conditioner might be worth trying. At least I could address my hair concerns with their questionnaire, in hopes that I would end up with the perfect shampoo/conditioner combination.
